We make our own LVP so you won’t find us reselling someone else’s product. We hold Essentials to the same standard as any other Deacon collection.

It’s the reason we hold every plank to the same standard, not a headline we lead with.
Essentials uses the patented Uniclic® locking system, which is a tight, tongue-and-groove joint that locks planks together without glue, nails or staples. Planks need to acclimate to the room at least 48 hours before installation. The subfloor must be flat, clean and dry. It’s built for interior, climate-controlled spaces and isn’t recommended over soft subfloors like carpet or in areas prone to flooding.
Download Full Installation Guide →Essentials is backed by a manufacturer’s warranty that covers manufacturing defects such as delamination, dimension and plank stability. The wear layer is warrantied not to wear through for 25 years in residential use and 10 years in light commercial use. Planks resist water and can withstand household spills like water, wine or cleanser as long as they are cleaned up.
The warranty doesn’t cover damage from improper installation, pet claws, high heels, direct sunlight fading or use in spaces the collection isn’t intended for such as pools, bathrooms with heavy water exposure or high-traffic commercial spaces such as restaurants or hotels.
