We make our own laminate and don’t resell someone else’s product. When we build laminate flooring for the Cypress Collection, we hold it to the same standard as every other Deacon collection.

Cypress Grove installs as a glueless floating floor using a locking system that creates a tight, water-resistant seam. Planks should acclimate to the room for a minimum of 48 hours before installation in a room that stays between 64°F–77°F with 35-70% relative humidity for at least 5 days before and during installation. The subfloor must be clean, flat and structurally sound. Transition moldings are required in all doorways and all cut edges must be sealed with silicone sealant. Unsealed cut edges will void the warranty.
Download Full Installation Guide →Every Cypress Grove laminate floor is backed by a manufacturer's warranty that covers manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product. During the warranty period:
Water Resistance: The floor’s structural integrity won’t be affected by standing water on the surface for up to 36 hours.
Wear Resistance: The decorative wear layer won’t wear through under normal use.
Fade Resistance: The floor won’t noticeably fade from sunlight or artificial light exposure.
Stain Resistance: The floor won’t stain from everyday household products including food and beverages when used with appropriate cleaning products.
Joint Integrity: Locking systems are engineered to minimize gapping, staying within 0.2mm during the warranty period.
The warranty doesn’t cover damage from pet claws, high heels, improper installation or maintenance, exposure to strong chemicals or detergents or damage from moisture beneath the floor. To file a claim, contact the dealer you purchased from.
